More than 500 servicemen of special forces and military intelligence units of the combined arms army of the Western Military District from the Voronezh Region completed the training program in Tambov. Also, more than 20 units of military and aviation equipment were involved in the exercises. According to the press service of the Western Military District, the commandos carried out a training program for parachute training.
The servicemen were landing from a height of 600 to 800 meters. Everyone jumped at least four times, practicing emergency situations in the air. Also, special forces parachuted from low heights and made long high-altitude jumps.
In addition, the servicemen worked out a gathering at a selected point after landing from helicopters, made a foot march with a suspended load over a wooded and swampy area with a length of more than 5 km.
They also took a course on parachute packing. Experienced instructors with combat experience were involved in the training.
