Sotnikov’s crew of the KAMAZ-Master team became the best at the prologue of the Zoloto Kagan rally-raid. This was reported in the press service of the residents of Chelny, reports IA “Tatar-inform”.
“According to the results of the first day of the rally-raid, Dmitry Sotnikov’s crew was the best in the truck classification on the track of the 15-kilometer prologue with a score of 10 minutes 28 seconds,” the press service said.
The crew of Andrey Karginov finished with a 45-second lag. Another Tatarstan team, the crew of Sergei Kupriyanov, broke the front axle of the truck during the race. They remain in the race, but with a time penalty.
In total, 70 crews on trucks, SUVs, SSVs, motorcycles and ATVs will compete for the Astrakhan “Kagan’s Gold”. Tatarstan is represented at the races by 6 teams from KAMAZ-Master.
