TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak spoke about the uncoordinated action that took place last night in Moscow after the court’s decision to replace Alexei Navalny’s suspended sentence in the Yves Rocher case with a real one.

“In general, what happened yesterday in the center of Moscow, I still cannot stomach,” Sobchak admitted in her Telegram channel.

She compared what was happening on the streets of the Russian capital with what was observed in Minsk, when residents there went to mass protests against the results of the presidential elections and faced harsh actions of law enforcement officers.

“Minsk is already here. Not soon. But right now. Beatings, cruelty. Absolutely unreasonable cruelty to the peaceful citizens of their country,” Sobchak said.

Let us remind you that the night before, late in the evening, numerous law enforcement officers dispersed an uncoordinated rally in the center of Moscow.

The siloviki blocked Manezhnaya and Pushkinskaya squares, closed the entrance and exit of three central metro stations – Okhotny Ryad, Revolution Square and Aleksandrovsky Sad.

After that, the procession began to be detained on Tverskaya Street, at the Bolshoi Theater, on Petrovka and Bolshaya Dmitrovka.

As a result of the use of special equipment, several people were injured, including the journalist of Real View Fyodor Khudokormov, who was hit twice on the head by an OMON officer with a truncheon.

According to human rights organizations, hundreds of people were in the paddy wagons.
