Slovakia will publish an agreement on the supply of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus to the country, regardless of Moscow’s reaction to it. This was stated by the head of the country’s Ministry of Health, Vladimir Lengvarsky. He added that Bratislava has already notified the Russian Federation of its intention and will wait for a response for several days.

According to the terms of the agreement, if it is disclosed without the consent of the supplier country Slovakia, penalties are threatened. The head of the Ministry of Health confirmed this information. However, the government of the country does not stop this.

After the purchase of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus, a government crisis erupted in Slovakia. Prime Minister Igor Matovich, who initiated the purchase of the drug, was forced to resign. He now holds the post of Deputy Prime Minister. The scandal began due to the fact that the vaccine is not registered in the EU.
