The Czech company Skoda has published images of the fourth-generation Fabia hatchback. The premiere of the model will take place in May.
Based on the images, the car will receive large wheels, wide arches, narrow side mirror housings, a sloping roof, as well as LED headlights and lanterns.
The car will be built on the modular platform MQB-A0, which underlies most of the compact models of the Volkswagen Group. Like other new cars of the Czech brand, the fourth Fabia will be larger than its predecessor and will receive a more spacious interior. The company also notes that the new Skoda Fabia will have the best drag coefficient in its class – 0.28.
On April 9, it was reported that Skoda has released a sports modification of the Octavia model, which is called the Sportline.
The car is available both with a liftback body and as a station wagon. Externally, such models can be distinguished from standard ones thanks to special alloy wheels with a diameter of 17 to 19 inches, as well as Sportline logos on the body.
