In Moscow, on December 31, skating rinks will finish working at 22 o’clock. This was stated by the head of the Moscow department of trade and services Alexei Nemeryuk on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24” on Monday, December 28.

“The skating rinks will work on the 31st until 22:00 pm and after that they will resume their work on the 1st of the weekend,” the official said.

The fact that on New Year’s Eve all parks and skating rinks in Moscow will not work, Nemeryuk said on December 18. He stressed that according to the decree of the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, mass entertainment events in the city will not be held. There is no holiday program in parks and skating rinks on the night of January 1, they will be closed.

From November 13 to January 15 in Moscow, additional anti-epidemiological measures are in force. All entertainment venues, bars, cafes, karaoke are now open until 23:00. At the same time, food delivery and cooking to take away did not fall under the restrictions.

All festive New Year events are canceled. However, the streets were still decorated to create a familiar festive atmosphere. New Year’s corporate parties in the city are allowed to be held until 23:00 and with the participation of no more than 50 people.
