By early next year, the race for the coronavirus vaccine will peak. At the same time, reports of possible side effects of the drug should appear.
This was stated by Dmitry Kulish, professor at the Skoltech Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
According to the expert, in January 2021, the first data on the third phase of vaccine trials will be published, RIA Novosti reports. This means that there will be statistical information about possible dangerous side effects and the effectiveness of drugs.
We will remind, the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 “Sputnik V” was approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in August, now the drug is undergoing the third stage of clinical trials.
In the Volgograd region, vaccination started on October 12. Volunteers have already received the second component of the drug. The coronavirus vaccine was given to doctors, teachers, social workers and law enforcement officers on a voluntary basis.
