The accident occurred on Gagarinsky Prospekt in the morning of December 22. The car ran into a power line support. Two people were trapped in the saloon of the mangled car.
As specified in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an emergency call was received at the desk of the duty officer at 7.10 am. Rescuers moved to the scene.
Upon arrival, it turned out that a Zhiguli car had run over a power line support. The car was badly crumpled – the driver and passenger were trapped in the cabin. Rescuers unblocked and handed over people to ambulance workers.
The victims required hospitalization. With moderate injuries they were taken to one of the city hospitals.
