Irish Health Minister Stephen Donnelly tested negative for coronavirus infection, so the self-isolation regime was canceled for other members of the country’s government.

Earlier, Donnelly announced that he was feeling unwell and decided to take a coronavirus test. In this regard, the entire Cabinet of Ministers of Ireland was forced to restrict their movements in order to prevent the spread of the disease.

According to the minister, his test showed a negative result, which allowed the government apparatus to return to its duties as usual, RTE News reported.

At the end of August, the Minister of Aliyah (Repatriation) and Integration of Israel, Pnina Tameno-Shete, fell ill with a coronavirus infection.

In this regard, during a meeting of the financial committee of the Knesset, MP Mika Levy asked several colleagues who had contact with the minister to leave him. Also, Tameno-Shete’s disease raised the question of the need to isolate all members of her department.
