During the 48th session of the Kuban parliament, the deputies discussed the issue with self-employed citizens. For the convenience of such a category of workers, amendments have been made to article 7’1 of the law “On the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Krasnodar Territory.”
The update implies expanding the range of recipients of property support from the region. So, their list was replenished by individuals who pay the tax on professional income – self-employed citizens.
Commenting on the draft law, ZSK speaker Yuriy Burlachko recalled that during the May session, a law was adopted on taxing professional income. Now, according to the parliamentarian, the time has come to provide support to the self-employed. Today in the region there are already more than 35 thousand people working in this area. Summarizing what was said, Burlachko stressed that in the current difficult time it is necessary to create favorable conditions for the development of self-employment in the Kuban.
“Payers of the tax on professional income will receive the opportunity to support, among other things, in the form of using or leasing state-owned property,” the parliamentarian concluded.
