Schoolchildren of the Sverdlovsk region, who are studying in a distance format, have their vacations shortened by several days. This follows from the decree of Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

The document amends the decree “On the introduction of a high alert regime on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region and the adoption of additional measures to protect the population from a new coronavirus infection.”

According to TagilCity.Ru, in the paragraph concerning distance learning, the words “December 12 to 26” have been replaced by “December 26 to 31”. Thus, students in grades 6-8 and grades 10 who study remotely will go on vacation a few days later than the rest.

In the same document, the paragraph has been changed that relates to the elderly. Those citizens who are a participant in the proceedings and follow to the place of participation in the trial are allowed to leave their homes.

On November 30, it was reported that the schools in Yekaterinburg could extend the academic year until June 12. The reason is the inability to complete the program on time due to restrictions on COVID-19.
