Kudremukh National Park

Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary

Sharadamba Temple

This temple is located at the banks of Tungabhadra River and it is an 8th century artwork. This temple is devoted to the goddess of wisdom. As per the Hindu mythology, this place was a practice spot for the Indian philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. It idol inside is made of gold which was previously made of sandalwood.

Jhari Waterfalls

Also known as the Buttermilk Falls it is a place surrounded by the dense forests and coffee plantations. The origin of this fall is the springs that originate in the mountains. One can have a peaceful day and enjoy a swim in the pool formed at the below of the waterfall.
