The total volume of overdue debt of Russians on bank loans in the first quarter of 2021 reached a record 976.1 billion rubles, and increased by 22%, which follows from the information of the Central Bank.
There are also enough debtors on bank loans in our region. As the “MK in Saratov” was informed in the federal service of bailiffs of Russia in the Saratov region, at the beginning of April 2021, there were 704 thousand 231 enforcement proceedings in the structural divisions of the department. Of these, 98 thousand 311 enforcement proceedings, or 13.8% of the total, were on the collection of debt on loan payments. It should be noted that 20% of debtors with loan arrears are citizens of retirement age.
Moreover, the number of debtors in the region is growing. According to the data of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Saratov region, in the reporting period, 48 thousand 347 enforcement proceedings were initiated to collect credit payments, which is 4 thousand 350 more than in the same period last year (43 thousand 997).
The largest amounts of debt in this category of enforcement proceedings are held by residents of the city of Saratov (101 million 650 thousand rubles and 91 million 421 thousand rubles), who are guarantors of loan payments issued to legal entities.
Due to the lack of property of the debtors, in three months of 2021 120 proceedings were completed in the amount of 8 thousand 771 thousand rubles. For twelve months of 2020, procedural decisions on termination on this basis were made within 1,517 proceedings in the amount of 147 million 240 thousand rubles.
