It turns out that in our region, elderly residents of 50 years and older are actively building families, and not “civil”, but official: with a trip to the registry office and stamped in their passports. The most interesting thing is that there are much more men among those wishing to “ring” than women. As reported to “MK” in Saratov “in the Office of Civil Registry Office of the Government of the Saratov region, in the age group from 50 to 60 years (the so-called pre-retirees) in 2020, 870 residents of the region were married (509 men and 361 women). In 2019, 1242 people played weddings (702 men and 540 women). In 2018, 1113 residents of the region were officially married in the above age category, of whom 665 were men and 448 were women. This year has forced the elderly residents of the region to isolate themselves, so there were fewer alliances.
Saratov residents over 60 get married and are getting married: in 2018, 511 elderly brides and grooms (513 men and 198 women) had fun at their own weddings. In 2019, 524 people (350 men and 174 women) legalized relationships in this age group. This year, despite the coronavirus pandemic, the number of officially married people was 491 (296 men and 195 women).
