The amateur hockey championship has ended on Sakhalin. It was attended by adult teams, and it was held in a circular format. Details were told in the regional ministry of sports.
In total, nine amateur teams from different districts of the Sakhalin Region took part in the championship, which took place on May 3. The Severnaya Zvezda team from the village of Nogliki became the winner – without losing even once.
The team was presented with a challenge cup, but the full-fledged rewarding will take place after three more competitions are held: “Governor’s Cup”, “Victory Cup” and “Anchor Cup”.
The next game for the Anchor Cup will be held on May 8 at the Kristall sports school in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The teams “Poronaysk” and “Legion” will meet there. The entrance to the game is free, the match will start at 12 noon.
