Russian universities are returning to full-time education from Monday, 8 February. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov, according to the agency’s website.
The document instructs the heads of universities subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science to organize the return of students to full-time education in agreement with the territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor, as well as taking into account the epidemiological situation in a particular region.
It is noted that universities need to provide access to antiseptics for students and staff, monitor observance of the mask regime and social distancing, and also ventilate the premises during breaks.
In addition, universities are instructed to measure the temperature of all visitors in a non-contact way, as well as to prevent persons with signs of infectious diseases from entering the university.
“In the event of a worsening epidemiological situation, according to the order, universities should be ready to resume restrictive measures related to the organization of the educational process,” the message says.
Earlier, on February 4, it was reported that creative universities subordinated to the Ministry of Culture of Russia, from February 8, will be able to resume work in full-time format, taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological situation in a particular region.
At the end of January, the Ministry of Education and Science announced that Russian universities will be able to return to full-time education from February 7, in agreement with the territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor.
