The US State Department report on the “ecosystem of Russian disinformation and propaganda” is called an attempt to stifle Russia’s proposals to resume cooperation in key areas. This comment was given at the Russian Embassy in Washington.
“The said report is an attempt to drown out the official Russian proposals for the resumption of cooperation in key areas on which the security of the whole world depends,” the diplomatic mission’s Facebook page says.
Representatives of the diplomatic mission are sure that the document is an attempt to discredit alternative sources of information.
Last year, the State Department’s report on the problems of combating terrorism in the world at the end of 2018 was criticized in North Korea. The foreign ministries of the country were outraged by the fact that the United States decided to leave the DPRK on the list of countries sponsoring terrorist activities.
