And this year – we hope that already in the second half of this year – or at most next year, the communications infrastructure will be seriously improved on the peninsula, ”TASS quoted Dukhovnitsky as saying.
He noted that the changes will affect both Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea. According to him, all the requirements of the ministry and the agency have been met and the preliminary work has already been completed. Currently, only industry and government documents are not ready.
“We need to be patient: everything that was required from the ministry and the agency, all the preparatory work has already been done. And by the end of the year we will see the results, mobile communications, broadband access, fixed communications, and the Internet in general will improve, ”Dukhovnitsky added.
In June, Beeline announced its intention to increase prices for roaming in Crimea and Sevastopol. Experts interviewed by Izvestia believe that other operators of the Big Four will do the same.
