Against the background of the spread of coronavirus infection, it is necessary to ensure uninterrupted power supply and the safety of employees

The head of Russian Grids Pavel Livinsky spoke about what steps should be taken in the near future to ensure the safety of personnel and maintain high productivity results in the context of the coronavirus epidemic spreading throughout the country. The discussion took place within the framework of the weekly power grid complex and included the following tasks:

– Special control of uninterrupted and high-quality power supply of medical institutions redesigned as covid hospitals. Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the number of such hospitals is growing almost every day – in the last week alone, 13 more hospitals have passed under the responsibility of Rosseti, their number increased from 303 to 316.

– Monitoring the epidemiological situation in each individual region, transferring, if necessary, personnel to a remote mode of operation. Today, in the Rosseti group of companies, 59% of office employees and 29% of employees of production units work effectively in a remote format. In regions where the situation with the spread of the virus is most tense, up to 80% of employees work online.

– An increase in the number of testing for COVID-19 infection in the body among employees. About 256 thousand tests have already been carried out, in the near future the volume of testing will increase everywhere.

– Completion of preparations for the autumn-winter period just in time, despite all the difficulties associated with the epidemiological situation. By the way, already now work on these tasks is being carried out ahead of schedule by 12.5%, and the main activities planned under the M&R plan have been fully completed.
