The number of cases of coronavirus in Buryatia as of August 9 increased by 30 and amounted to 4409 people since the beginning of the pandemic, the department of Rospotrebnadzor in Belarus reported. Of this, 2483 cases are in Ulan-Ude.
3,691 people recovered from covid, including 15 patients over the past day, 44 people have died since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Currently, 312 patients, including 17 children, are being treated in hospitals in Buryatia. 362 patients with mild illness are on outpatient treatment.
Of the new cases of the disease, 12 people were examined for dealing with signs of SARS, that is, the source of their infection is unknown. The rest are in contact with others previously identified with covid.
There are 18 severe patients in intensive care units, of which 12 are over 65 years old, 4 patients are on mechanical ventilation. One of them is an 80-year-old patient. The four observatories are home to 45 people.
We add that since the beginning of the epidemic, 253,200 people have been tested on covid in clinical diagnostic laboratories.
