Outside the Lebanese Parliament building in Beirut, demonstrators began to clash with the police. Some people use tear gas, others throw stones.

Earlier, residents went to a massive anti-government rally, which almost immediately turned into riots.

Now additional forces of law enforcement officers are being pulled into the area.

More than 15 ambulances also arrived at the scene of the collisions.

Thousands of people demanded the resignation of the government, as well as reforms. At least five demonstrators outside the parliament were injured by the gas. At least one security officer was injured by a stone hit.

Earlier it was reported that residents of Beirut will go to a protest against the authorities because of the explosion.
