Negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are meaningless as long as Kiev continues its current policy, Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov is sure.
In his opinion, such negotiations all the more make no sense without the participation of the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass.
“Negotiations with Zelensky, whether in Paris or“ anywhere in Donbass, ”do not make sense under the current policy of Ukraine, because Kiev is not fulfilling its obligations. Moreover, without the participation of the DPR / LPR, ”he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Pushkov believes that Zelensky can be caught at his word and offered to hold talks in Luhansk or Donetsk. However, he expressed doubt that any of the leaders of Ukraine, France or Germany would come there.
