On July 28, during a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine, it was announced that a new format of cooperation between the three countries was created, which was called the “Lublin Triangle”. It implies deepening relations between the three countries. They agreed to coordinate their position on the ongoing revision of the norms for building relations between the European Union and Russia. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputovich.

On July 29, Pushkov commented on the introduction of a bill to the State Duma that proposes to expand the application of economic sanctions. According to him, Russia’s expansion of the set of economic sanctions is necessary and justified.
