Elena Antonova, clinical perinatal psychologist at the Center for Prevention and Public Health of the Pskov Region, held an action as part of the World Breastfeeding Week.
On August 7, a meeting was held with women from Pskov who are going to become or have already become mothers. They were told about the nuances of breastfeeding, showed how to organize the process correctly so that the child is comfortable.
“Breastfeeding is central to maternal behavior, but young mothers need training to do it successfully. A woman embarking on the path of motherhood needs someone more experienced to introduce her into a new role as a mother, ”the Center for Public Health explained.
