White House press secretary Jen Psaki stopped her speech in connection with a creak, which she jokingly attributed to the ghost of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
The loud sound came during Psaki’s traditional press briefing. The video posted on the Web shows how Psaki was frightened at first.
“Do not be afraid. It is possible that this is the spirit of Lincoln, ”she said.
Psaki has repeatedly become the object of criticism and parodies, while still the head of the press service of the State Department, which happened due to reservations and mistakes that she made when discussing world politics.
