The head of the US State Department, Mike Pompeo, accused China of interfering with the investigation of the World Health Organization (WHO) and withholding data on the vaccines promoted by the PRC.

“The Chinese Communist Party continues to spread misinformation about the virus and interfere with WHO’s investigation into its origin and spread. It also promotes vaccines for which important safety and efficacy data are lacking due to total disrespect for transparency and accountability in critical trials. Both actions endanger the citizens of China and the whole world, ”the statement Pompeo.

The Secretary of State is confident that the virus will defeat “the United States and other free countries such as Germany and Great Britain.”

China does not admit all the accusations of the United States for the spread of coronavirus infection.

The South China Morning Post reported on Friday that China intends to vaccinate 50 million people against the coronavirus by the Chinese New Year (2021 is celebrated on February 12). These are Chinese vaccines produced by Sinopharm and Sinovac Biotech.

On the same day, WHO announced that an international team of experts will travel to China in early January to study the origin of the virus.

On September 7, it was reported that two Chinese companies – Sinovac Biotech and Sinopharm – began developing vaccines for the coronavirus. A Sinovac spokesman said the company is ready to produce 300 million vaccines a year.
