In the Smolensk region, in Pochinka, traffic police and schoolchildren took to the road sections near schools and a children’s clinic with unusual posters. In their hands they held images and collages with dolls on the road.
This is how the protesters tried to draw the attention of drivers to the topic of ensuring the safety of young passengers, whose lives are endangered by improper transportation in the passenger compartment even in the smallest accident.
So far, the most effective means of protection for children is a special restraint device, the so-called car seat, designed taking into account the characteristics of the child’s body, matched to the height and weight of the child. Children are the most vulnerable category of road users, whose safety depends entirely on adults. And in Pochinka they hope that on December 8 the protesters managed to reach out to adults.
