In mid-August, a 29-year-old man turned to the Petrozavodsk police department and said that he had become a victim of a robbery, the press service of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. The victim said that he lives in a private house and went to visit one of the evenings, however, when he returned home, he did not find a music center, two televisions and clothes. The total amount stolen was 63,800 rubles.
As it turned out, when leaving the house, the man did not close the front door with a key, but simply slammed it. This was taken advantage of by a thief who entered the dwelling and carried out all the loot into a forest belt located not far from the house. Later, the attacker called a taxi and took the goods with him. After some time, he sold all the equipment for five thousand rubles, and kept the clothes for himself.
A criminal case has now been initiated.
