Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, April 15, that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is tolerating the second component of the COVID-19 vaccine without side effects.

According to him, on the day of the vaccination before going to bed, the head of state “put a thermometer on his bedside table just in case.”

“Considering that he has a rather busy working day today, I dare say that his health is in order, as well as during (introduction – Ed.) Of the first component,” a Kremlin spokesman told reporters.

Dmitry Peskov clarified that at present, Putin has no side effects after the drug.

In addition, Peskov said that the vaccination of the Russian leader had a positive effect on this procedure among the population, Gazeta.ru emphasized.

Earlier that day, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation also said that work on the distribution of the vaccine against COVID-19 in Russia is proceeding satisfactorily. According to him, demand will continue to grow.

On April 14, the head of state announced that he had been injected with the second component of the COVID-19 vaccine. He expressed confidence that the pandemic would soon recede and encouraged everyone to follow his example.
