In the next couple of days, another Arab country may sign a peace agreement with Israel. This statement was made by the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations Kelly Kraft in an interview with Al-Arabiya.

According to her, the plan of the American authorities is to involve more countries in the agreement, which will be announced soon. At the same time, Kraft noted that in the next two days another country may conclude a peace agreement, and several more intend to follow in the same way.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that up to nine more countries could join the agreements between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain on the normalization of relations.

On September 15, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdel Latif al-Zayani signed agreements to normalize relations between the countries.

One of the agreements involves Israel’s suspension of the extension of its sovereignty to Jewish settlements in the West Bank. This condition is spelled out in Washington’s plan for the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The signing of agreements between the countries was condemned in Palestine. There they recalled their ambassador to the UAE and called the actions of Abu Dhabi aggression against its people and disregard for their rights and shrines.
