Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev named the regions that are leading in the number of crimes in the implementation of national projects.

Thus, the largest number of crimes was committed in the Republic of Khakassia, Kemerovo and Tomsk regions, he said during a speech on topical issues of national security in the regions of the Siberian Federal District in Novosibirsk.

Patrushev also noted that 29 crimes related to the implementation of national projects were identified in the Siberian Federal District, 6 of which were corruption, writes TASS on Monday, October 6.

On September 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that tasks for national goals should not be diverted beyond the 2024 borders.

All target figures for national projects should be communicated to the regions as soon as possible, the head of state said. The priority in the implementation of tasks is given to the regions, Putin said. It is there that the main events of the national projects take place.

Earlier in September, the draft budget for the next three years was approved. It proposes to cut funding for the program of national projects by 600 billion rubles. The most significant reduction in funding in 2021-2022 awaits the national projects “Demography” (158 billion will be removed from it), “Comprehensive plan for modernization and expansion of trunk infrastructure” (144 billion) and “Housing and urban environment” (80 billion).
