Power line accidents left homes in the center of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and its suburbs without energy. This was reported on Friday, August 7, to TASS in the Sakhalinenergo information company.
It is noted that the blackouts affected houses on the streets of Karl Marx, Emelyanov, Gorky, Chekhov, Popovich, Ankudinov, Fizkulturnaya, Komsomolskaya and Tikhookeanskaya, as well as on Mira, Pobeda and Kommunisticheskiy avenues. In addition, residents in the planning area Lugovoye along the streets of Gaiduk, 2nd Northern and 2nd Pionerskaya were left without electricity.
According to Sakhalinenergo, the search for the damage site is currently underway, and several thousand residents of the city were left without energy. As a result of the accident, 75 houses were left without electricity, traffic lights turned off, tram traffic was stopped.
