According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), over the past day in Germany, the number of newly infected people has increased by 1147, which is more than 100 cases more than in the previous day (1045).

As of Friday, August 7, 214,214 cases of infection have been recorded in the country since the start of the collection of official statistical information on coronavirus.
