Another demonstration started in Yerevan on Monday, December 14, during which protesters demand the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the Izvestia correspondent.

The procession takes place not in the center of the capital. The demonstrators occupied several lanes of the Komitas Avenue. According to preliminary data, about 3 thousand people are participating in the action.

The police have not yet intervened in the actions of the protesters, reports RT.

On December 11, Yerevan police took about 40 participants of a similar protest action to police stations.

On November 9, Armenia and Azerbaijan, with the mediation of Russia, signed an agreement, according to which hostilities would cease in Nagorno-Karabakh on November 10.

Earlier that day, Pashinyan’s press secretary Mane Gevorgyan also denied rumors about the resignation of the prime minister, which the opposition forces are demanding.

Following this, protest actions began in Armenia. The opposition called Pashinyan a traitor who signed the surrender. At the same time, the prime minister pointed out that the agreement was the only way to achieve peace in the region, since Armenia had already lost control over a number of regions.

On the night of December 14, information appeared in the media about Pashinyan’s resignation from the post of prime minister. However, the politician denied these rumors. According to him, he is not going to leave the post without the will of the people.
