Due to the long weekend from May 1 to May 9, the working hours of the Russian Post offices are also changing. It is reported that May 1 and 9 will be a day off for all post offices, except for a few in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
On Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 8, post offices will close an hour earlier (except 24/7). On May 2, the branches work according to the usual schedule, on the 3rd day – on the Saturday schedule, from May 4 to May 7 – they work as usual, on the 10th – on the Sunday schedule.
It is also reported that in order to organize smooth operation, changes are not ruled out for some rural branches. Benefits and pensions will be delivered on the days agreed with the regional offices of the FIU. If you need to clarify the work schedule, you can do this either in the Russian Post mobile application or on the company’s website.
