False bank employees continue to rob the gullible residents of Yoshkar-Ola.

On Saturday, February 6, two Yoshkarolinki were injured. The swindler convinced a 40-year-old woman that someone had taken out a loan in her name and that money could be saved only by taking another loan. The victim told the interlocutor the details of her card and codes from the received SMS, which allowed the attacker to receive 298 thousand rubles on her behalf and transfer them to his account.

Another Yoshkarolinka, at the request of a telephone interlocutor who introduced herself as a bank employee, installed an application on her smartphone – a remote access program through which the criminal issued a loan in her name for 264 thousand rubles.

In both cases, criminal cases were initiated on the basis of theft committed from a bank account, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Mari El reports.

Recall recently MK in Mari El told how a pensioner from Yoshkar-Ola gave 1.2 million rubles to a fortuneteller.
