On February 28, Tula will celebrate the Day of the Snowman, which is celebrated in Russia on the last day of winter. This is reported by the city administration.
The holiday will take place on the Kazanskaya embankment. From 12:00 Tula people will have fun exercises. From 12:30 to 14:00, everyone is invited to snow team building: making snowmen, shooting snow, as well as participating in relays and cold games. At 12: 00-14: 00 Tula people and guests of the city will have a Tula tea party.
We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” wrote that a giant sculpture of a snowman is being installed on the Kazanskaya embankment. Its height reaches 10 meters. It rests on special frames made of wood. For the manufacture it took about 40 tons of snow. Installation of the character will be completed by February 28, when the Russian Day of the Snowman is celebrated.
