The man who robbed his new acquaintance was detained in the Rostov region. The incident happened on August 5, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov region reported.
The police received a robbery report from a 43-year-old local resident. On that day, he was relaxing with friends and drinking alcoholic beverages. Going home, he met two men who followed him. One of them left for a while, after which the second began to demand a telephone from the Donetsk resident. Having received a refusal, the attacker hit the victim in the face, and then took away his bag, documents and mobile gadget.
The next day, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in such a crime. It turned out to be a 30-year-old man. The loot was confiscated and returned to the owner.
The department added that a criminal case was initiated against the detainee on the basis of the crime of the “Robbery” article. He also received a preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place.
