The Rostov Regional Court sentenced a 51-year-old man accused of theft, deliberate bodily harm, murder and deliberate damage to other people’s property. This was told in the prosecutor’s office of the Rostov region.
The court found that in the spring of 2019, the man beat his drinking companion, and a month later he killed three friends with a knife. To cover up the crime, he burned down the house where they drank. However, the attacker was detained.
“By the verdict, the accused was sentenced to 24 years and 1 month in prison with serving the sentence in a penal colony with a strict regime,” the prosecutor’s office of the Rostov region was told. – Also, the convict has limited freedom for a period of 2 years.
The verdict has not entered into force, therefore it can be appealed.
