Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin will be restored for 400 million rubles

In Nizhny Novgorod, a contractor has been identified who will restore the walls and towers of the Kremlin. The relevant information is posted on the public procurement portal.

Based on the documentation, the contract worth 397.5 million rubles was won by AdeptStroy LLC. Specialists must carry out work to preserve the object of cultural heritage of federal significance, writes IA NewsNN.

In particular, the contractor will restore the Borisoglebskaya and Georgievskaya towers, as well as the section of the wall between the Georgievskaya and Zachatievskaya towers. The work must be completed within ten months from the date of the contract.

Funds for the work have been allocated from the regional budget. The customer is the regional government administration.

Earlier it became known that the authorities are going to spend 1.6 billion rubles on updating the Kremlin’s territory. A funicular will be built there, the boulevard between the towers will be improved, the slopes will be strengthened, the walls will be repaired.

On June 4, it was reported that on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin it was decided to restore the temple of St. Simeon the Stylite. It was dismantled in 1928. The church will be a one-domed church with a refectory and a hipped bell tower.
