The head of Salekhard, Alexei Titovsky, on the evening of April 22, on his VKontakte page, announced work on the arrangement of new pedestrian crossings in the city. Many Salekhard residents asked to equip a pedestrian crossing across Brodnev Street in the area of the roundabout; they often reported on the need to organize a sidewalk. This year, the relevant work will be carried out, the mayor assured.
“During the reception, a resident of our city Elena Bibik noted that on a busy section of the roadway near Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya and Brodnev streets there is a large residential quarter Yamalsky. The nearest pedestrian crossing is far away, and we all understand that it is difficult for people with children and the elderly to overcome such a distance. A project for the arrangement of a pedestrian crossing has been developed, which is planned to be implemented in the fall of this year. In addition, we will make the sidewalk, ”said Alexey Titovsky.
He noted that a similar problem exists near the new kindergarten “Moroshka”, the authorities of Salekhard are working on this issue.
