20 new PAZ buses and four GAZ buses, intended for the transportation of schoolchildren, arrived in the Khabarovsk Territory. It is reported by IA AmurMedia with reference to the press service of the governor and the government of the region.
Transport was allocated to the region under the order of the Russian government. All machines are made taking into account work in the northern climate – for example, the number of stoves has been increased in their salons.
As specified in the Ministry of Education of the Territory, most of the buses were distributed between the Amursky, Bikinsky, Verkhnebureinsky, Vyazemsky, named after Lazo, Sovetsko-Gavansky, Komsomolsky, Nanaisky, Nikolaevsky, Solnechny, Ulchsky and Khabarovsky regions. Three cars were handed over to boarding schools No. 10 and 19 and school No. 1 of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, one more – to the Khabarovsk regional center of psychological, pedagogical, medical and social assistance.
The new buses will help to partially abandon the transport of municipal and private carriers.
In 2020, 218 bus routes were organized on the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory for the transportation of schoolchildren. This opportunity is used by 6284 children in 15 districts and two city districts.
