More than 54% of Ukrainians surveyed said they did not trust Zelensky

More than 50% of Ukrainian citizens do not trust the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. This follows from the survey data of the Ukrainian Institute of Analysis and Forecasting, published on Monday, August 31, on its website.

54.7% of respondents do not trust the head of state, 38.9% adhere to the opposite opinion. In July, these figures were 57% and 37.4%, respectively.

The government of the country is not trusted by 75.7% against 18.2% of trusting citizens, 68.2% of respondents do not trust the National Bank against 22.4%, 74.2% of survey participants do not trust the prosecutor’s office against 15.2%.

79% of respondents do not trust the Verkhovna Rada against 15.5%. In general, 75.6% do not trust political parties, 15.9% of citizens do.

The survey was conducted by the Institute for Analysis and Forecasting among residents of Ukraine in all regions, with the exception of the Donbass territories not controlled by Kiev, in the form of a personal interview from 19 to 27 August. Sociologists surveyed 2,031 respondents.

At the end of June, the number of Ukrainians who trust Zelensky dropped by 18% since May. This was reported by experts from the sociological service of the Razumkov Center. Then 41% of respondents trusted him.
