Over 50 thousand Muscovites have signed up for the coronavirus vaccine. This was announced on Thursday, December 24, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
“To date, more than 50 thousand have already signed up. A quiet recording is in progress. Our 70 points are working in a quiet mode, “- said the head of the city on the air of the TV channel” Russia 24 “.
The mayor added that, if necessary, the number of vaccination points can be doubled. Currently, 70 points are open for residents of the capital.
Earlier on Thursday, Sobyanin said that additional capacities would be deployed in Moscow to help patients with COVID-19. According to the mayor, the authorities hoped to stabilize the situation with the coronavirus, but so far this has not been observed.
At the same time, Sobyanin stressed that Moscow copes with the disease no worse than other world cities.
Large-scale vaccination against COVID-19 in Moscow started on December 5.
