Most cases of infection in 24 hours were recorded in Europe (over 243 thousand), followed by North and South America (more than 92 thousand).
In total, as of November 27, more than 60.5 million cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the world.
Earlier on Friday, WHO Director General Tedros Adan Ghebreyesus announced the uneven spread of coronavirus infection in the world. All countries are affected, but not all the same, he said. According to WHO, the largest number of cases is currently in the United States, India, Brazil and Russia.
