In the city of Kamen-na-Obi (Altai Territory), more than 3 million rubles were stolen during the re-equipment of boiler house No. 29. The prosecutor’s office revealed the fact of theft during the check.
“The rights and legitimate interests of the residents of Kamen-na-Obi, served by boiler house No. 29, to receive communal heating services of proper quality, have been violated, since until now boiler equipment has not been put into operation after technical re-equipment,” the prosecutor’s website says.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Misappropriation or embezzlement committed on an especially large scale.” His investigation is under the control of the Kamensk interdistrict prosecutor’s office, writes altapress.ru.
Those guilty of a crime face up to 10 years in prison with a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
Earlier it was reported about the initiation of a criminal case against the head of the Mirninsky district of Yakutia, Rishat Yuzmukhametov. He is suspected of committing crimes under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – misappropriation or embezzlement. The investigation believes that the official has illegally disposed of municipal real estate in the amount of about 12 million rubles.
