The month of cleaning and improvement of urban areas has ended in Elista.
Throughout April, employees of budgetary organizations, including the administration of the city of Elista, went out to clean up the streets, squares and parks from the garbage accumulated over the winter. They were also engaged in whitewashing, painting, planting seedlings, digging up beds and even minor repairs of small architectural structures. The cleaning of the courtyards fell on the shoulders of the residents of apartment buildings, who, moreover, cleaned and repaired the adjacent sidewalks and motorways.
“Unauthorized landfills have been liquidated in different parts of the city and in the suburbs. Including on the territory along the railway line from the station to the Stavropol post and a section of the steppe near the Gashun gully. In total, more than 1080 cubic meters of garbage were removed during the month, – they write on the website of the city administration. – The steppe capital celebrates the May holidays in a spring-like, well-groomed and renewed manner ”.
One can only rejoice for the residents of the central streets and residential areas.
