In connection with weather conditions in the Tula region, work is underway to prevent accidents on the roads. The federal highways M-2 “Crimea” and M-4 “Don” pass on the territory of the Tula region. There are 9 dangerous sections on these roads, of which 6 are on the M-2 “Crimea” highway and 3 on the M-4 “Don” highway.
The work of 10 mobile heating stations with a total capacity of 200 people was organized.
There are 4 heating points deployed on the M-2 federal highway:
-171 km and intersection with R-132 (GO Tula)
-124 km (Zaoksky district);
-209 km (Shchekinsky district);
-254 km (Plavsky district);
and 5 points on the federal highway M-4:
-175 km (Venevsky district);
-214 km (Uzlovsky district);
-227 km (Bogoroditsky district);
-263 km (Volovsky district);
-297 km (Efremovsky district).
Mobile heating points operate around the clock.
Also, in the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Tula Region, there is a mobile temporary accommodation center with a capacity of 120 people to respond to large-scale emergencies on the roads.
