The prime minister takes out half of the Cabinet with him

Russian Prime Minister Mishustin began his first visit to the Far East. As part of the business trip, the prime minister will visit Chukotka, the Kamchatka Territory, as well as the Magadan and Amur Regions.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the prime minister must hold about three dozen meetings and conferences, including industry-specific, in order to “sort out the problems of the most important territory of the country and remove bottlenecks that hinder its development.”

According to the newspaper, Mishustin takes out half of the Cabinet with him. The delegation also includes Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, Russian Railways CEO Oleg Belozerov, Transneft CEO Nikolai Tokarev, VEB.RF chairman Igor Shuvalov, CEO of the Far East and Arctic Development Fund Alexei Chekunkov.

Airplanes, helicopters and ships will be used to move around the eastern territory.

It is known that in Magadan Mishustin will inspect social and infrastructural facilities and talk to workers. A meeting with the head of Kolyma Sergey Nosov is also planned.

Recently it became known that during a trip to the Far East, the prime minister will not come to Khabarovsk, where residents go out to rallies every day in connection with the arrest of their former governor Sergei Furgal.
