On the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there was a warning about the inadmissibility of going to uncoordinated rallies. The press service of the department recalled that restrictive measures continue to operate in the regions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Citizens were urged to refrain from visiting the central streets and squares, since in conditions of mass gathering of people, the risk of infection significantly increases.
The text of the warning says that the day before, information about planned uncoordinated protests in several regions of Russia appeared in a number of social networks and on websites.
The department also recalled that according to the law on rallies, it is prohibited to hold public events in the immediate vicinity of the buildings of the authorities and emergency services.
Citizens were also warned that provocations and aggressive actions by the participants are possible at mass events. The Ministry of Internal Affairs recommends that Russians warn their relatives, especially minors, against participating in rallies.
